I was lucky to have my buddy Dustin come down from the Yukon and when he is down we ride no matter what the conditions are. Despite the snow last week we headed up to Ladies Only for one quick rip and the next day we put in nearly a 4 hour day as we rode from my place up Dempsey, across Baden Powell, down Upper and Lower Griffin and then along the pavement to End of the Line. From EOL we headed across Lynn Canyon and up Bridal Path from Fisherman’s. From Bridal we traversed over to Empress Bypass and then up Old Buck to Ned’s. We ripped down Ned’s and Bottle Top and took the fireroad and Dempsey home. We were lucky to have set the first tracks this day on Ned’s and Bottle Top in the snow. Fun times indeed. Below are some sweet pictures of the day.

Hard to believe that was just last week. We should still have another few weeks of good snowbiking up here. Three of us went out for a 35 km ride yesterday with almost a km of climbing. Lots of rolling gradual downhill through snowy forest on the way back. All from the front door.

Hands down the most freeing thing is to be able to ride on trails from your front door. I absolutely love that about where we live! Not sure if I’m a snowbiker, I’m a bit wimpy when it comes to the cold, but an entire winter of riding on the Shore has been awesome!
